Missed it by that much: Immortalizing the TiVo Series3 HD that I just received and is immediately getting sent back. I was so excited that TiVo would transfer my lifetime subscription over to this new box I didn’t stop to see if if they worked with set top boxes like the one used by Rogers. They don’t. Sigh. Even though I’m getting a refund, it’s only a partial one (minus 15% restocking) and I still had to pay for the customs and taxes. I think I should simply chalk this experience up as my annual contribution to the world moron tax. (via neilio’s Photos)
